Nebosh arrives in Latin America in its own language

In its first phase, there will be an annual call for applications per country

Starting in 2018, workers and employers in Latin American countries will be able to access the NEBOSH course “International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety” (IGC), which is widely known worldwide and recognised by companies and employers in the field of occupational health and safety. The course awards the academic level of “Technician” to become a professional member of IOSH (Tech IOSH) and an Associate Member of IIRSM (AllRSM).

Until now, companies, employers and workers only had access to this important certification in English, which represented an obvious additional difficulty for Spanish-speaking countries.

For this reason, ELINOR, a Spanish company providing advanced services in occupational safety, health and risk prevention, as a partner of RRC International, is offering the nine NEBOSH Certificate qualifications in Latin America, with both the course and the exams available entirely in Spanish.

For this first phase, an annual call for applications has been planned in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The Nebosh course is offered in the following formats:

E-learning: flexible online training, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the world, through an interactive online study programme that is highly intuitive and easy to use, with tutoring support from a team of teachers with extensive practical experience in occupational health and safety approved by NEBOSH.

Face-to-face courses: high-quality training delivered by ELINOR professionals and NEBOSH-approved teachers, always in closed courses at the client's request (in-company or in-house).

Distance learning: study through texts, no continuous internet access required, with permanent tutoring support from a team of NEBOSH-approved and specialised teachers.

In-company: training designed according to the needs of companies and delivered at their own facilities.

Classes will be taught by ELINOR and RRC professionals with NEBOSH-approved teachers, over a period of two weeks (10 days + exams), in blocks or day by day, at each company's workplace.

Both the course and the exam will take place at the companies' premises or another pre-arranged location on an agreed date.
